Looks like one of my birds! My day will involve my turkey, an annual race that I love running, family and football. Both of my parent are still with us, but my Dad’s health has been slipping these past few years, so you never know when we won’t have him anymore. So I’ll cherish the time with him as well as the time with our daughters. Our youngest has (so far) successfully addressed her anxiety issues and recently had shoulder surgery. While challenges remain in my life (we all have them), I am in a good place and for that, I am thankful.
Listen ladies, please have the best Thanksgiving Day you have ever had! We all have good and bad in our lives. Our shared “interest” is different for each and every one of us. It is certainly not considered mainstream, but it is indeed a gift. It offers us a perspective in life that many do not have. It has certainly changed my life, now five years in. I have experienced so many things that I NEVER thought possible. I have met so many wonderful people that I simply would not or could not otherwise. I have reached the point where I just know what outfit works best for which occasion. I also know that what I do is noticed in the world. I do make a difference. For you, my readers, I am thankful.
As we approach the holidays, I want to again open the floor up to anyone who wishes a platform to speak. You can do so anonymously, or share pictures and stories like many of our friends here have. There will be a few weeks near the end of the year where Kandi is locked up and put away, so my escapade stories will be gone for a bit. I need fresh content or you’ll get a steady stream of reruns!
