Differing Perspectives

Marie and I recently had the following e-mail exchange.

“Kandi, Noticed several times you have mentioned donning your Crowning Glory as the last or near last step in being Kandi. Have a small suggestion which MAY increase the JOY and fulfillment of being Kandi.  Learned this approach and have found it to provide (me at least) with a greater sense of my Marie Anne (My Feminine Soul).

After a delicious Body Bath shower  or Tub Soak and gentle drying with an over-sized Bath Towel, my next step in bringing Marie Anne to life is stepping into the chosen panties and then placing my Crowning Glory (A True change in the male/female difference/Appearance) in place.  Then letting the towel to gently fall way as I slip my arms in the Bra straps.   Thus, this is first mirror image presented – The essential femininity of Marie Anne.”

My response:

“Thanks Marie! My getting ready and your getting ready are two completely different things.  Mine is work, a necessary chore.  It takes too long and always has made me think about going out less frequently.  I wish it were as simple as just getting dressed.

When the wig goes on, it’s time to head out the door, that’s when my experience begins.  For you, the process means everything.  Plus the logistics of doing my makeup with a wig on simply doesn’t work.  [I neglected to say my eye sight, or lack thereof, makes what Marie described practically impossible.] I’m me, wig or not, it makes no difference for me.

This is different things for all of us.  I appreciate your thoughts, but we come at this from different angles.  Kandi remains about my fifth favorite thing to do, you just read about it more because of the blog.  With our daughters home [this exchange was during Thanksgiving week] and three races in a week, I shut Kandi down for almost two weeks and don’t miss it a bit.  That will change when the girls go back home.  If I blogged about the entirety of my life, it would be very different and most of my readers, including you, wouldn’t read as often.”

Marie had her own follow-up thoughts, which you can read tomorrow.
