December 20, 2019 – My last outing of the year. One of my favorite places to be. Third Friday, a monthly event I have been able to attend now these past few months. Last Sunday I wore the outfit I was planning for this day, so I sort of reconstituted it with different leggings and another long, cowl neck sweater. I felt pretty good about it.
I had planned to do a lot more than I actually did, but when the the garage door broke, there went my extra time! Oh, well. Thankfully it broke before I was dressed and not as I was leaving to go out!
I had a pretty attractive coupon to use, so I did some makeup shopping and then headed over to the studios. The building has four floors, so I really just took my time walking each floor, taking it all in. I saw some friends I know and enjoyed chatting with them. On two separate occasions, I was asked if I worked at the art museum. I guess people do remember me. That made me happy!
Really that was the whole day. Once I got to the event, I spent two hours just walking, smiling, looking, chatting, being. Pretty cool.
I am on Kandi shut down until after the first of the year. I have mixed feelings about it. The shut down is because our daughter will be home for the entirety of that time and our other daughter will also be home for a few days. So I will certainly enjoy there company. I will miss my Kandi time, but given my ability to get out so often, I have nothing to complain about.
On this Christmas Eve, I want to take the opportunity to thank my reader (readers of there is more than one out there). As long as you keep coming back, I’ll keep yakking. Here’s to you!
