My friend Pricilla asked me the following question:
I don’t think you have told us the story behind your new hairdo!
Did you buy the wig on-line or at a Wig Boutique?
Inquiring minds would like to know!!!!
This may be the least interesting post I have yet written (and I know, there is a lot of competition for uninteresting posts!). I did mention the new ‘do briefly in a post a few months back. I was walking through a clothing boutique, just to kill time before heading to an event. Along with clothing, they also sold wigs. I had no intention to even look at the wigs, but this one caught me eye. I saw it in my peripheral vision as I wasn’t even looking at wigs. So what the heck, I tried it on and loved it! It’s exactly what I want, not long and the upkeep is very easy. I simply shake it before I put it on. I barely use a brush on it at all. It’s kind of me, I think. I wore it that day out of the shop.
I never buy anything online, with very rare exceptions. I like to try things on, see what they look like, so I would never buy a wig online. Plus if we all stop shopping brick and mortar, there won’t be any stores left. I always try to support local businesses whenever possible. Buying a wig online you lose the experience, trying it on, discussing it with another human being, that mirror. Also, impulse purchases are much easier online, although I am still victim to them when in store.
I warned you, a pretty simple story. Thanks Pricilla!
