The Red Sweater

You probably know I have a massive wardrobe. If I started on January 1, 2020 wearing a different outfit every day and did so through December 31, 2020, I could easily do so without ever repeating an outfit or the principal portion of an outfit. Since most of my clothing was acquired for pennies on the dollar, my clothing is fairly disposable. For example, I’ll walk into a Goodwill on a $1 day, grab all the pants or jeans in my size for a buck each and buy them. I have other money saving strategies. This is how my wardrobe has ballooned without breaking the bank.

So I have a general rule of thumb, I’ll wear something (excluding complementary items like a pair of slacks, jeans or a basic sweater) no more than three times and then off it goes. I try to consign whatever I can to reinvest the proceeds or donate what won’t sell. I am pretty faithful to my rules with one exception, my Christmas red sweater! I picked up the cowl neck sweater early on in my Kandi life for a few dollars. It’s hard to see in pictures, but it has some sparkle to it. The sweater was purchased by its original owner from Walmart! I wear it every Christmas season, putting the outfit together differently every time.

Here is a montage of me and my sweater!

2019

I certainly have evolved!
