So here is the rest of this photo shoot, which was great fun for me!!
What I like most about the short wig is the ability to prominently display my earrings. I have developed a way to appear that my ears are pierced (they are not) and it pleases me to have long, dangly earrings. I can wear it on walks and runs, maybe when I want to wear a cute hat. It certainly takes very little maintenance. I recognize it’s not my most flattering look.
The long wig, well I cannot deny I look pretty good and a bit younger in it. It creates so many options for me. I do love hair accessories, cute bows, headbands and barrettes. They just add another feminine touch. So, we’ll see where we go from here. I’ve had plenty of time recently to rethink how I present myself. You may notice, I’m pretty happy despite the state of things in the world today.
What bothers me the most isn’t what is going on today, it’s that I do not see any light at the end of the tunnel. Even when we conquer the virus, many, many of those unemployed by this will never recoup those jobs. Restaurants, bars, theaters, community theaters, concert venues, charities, many will disappear, never to be seen again. Very, very sad.
