September 14, 2020 – Ten ladies gathered at Luxe Kitchen & Lounge in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District and enjoyed each other’s company.

This was my third Supper Club and it is really gaining traction. We have a core group of woman and have added along the way, while some have had life get in the way and want to join us again the next month.
Betty, her partner Daphne and I have been to every one so far. This time we had an entire room to ourselves, which made for an excellent environment for conversation. Everyone talked, shared, felt comfortable and three hours flew by in no time! I am so honored to be the hostess for this wonderful monthly gathering.
So on a recent Stein Mart trip, I picked up this wonderful Vince Camuto dress for $5 and I immediately knew she’d be worn to Supper Club. I just felt so pretty!
What I enjoyed the most was just how easy the conversations were, with everyone seemingly having the opportunity to talk with everyone else. I talked a bit about some of the things I have written about here. Betty, given her job as director of LGBTQ + Allies Lake County (see the “Links” page), was curious about my relationship with my wife, which I have discussed here before. I explained I have zero interest in being my wife’s girlfriend, I prefer always to be her husband. While she sees me dressed frequently, it’s really a nonissue with us. More of that type of conversation went on this evening.
Well, we all look forward to the October Supper Club, a cooking class!! Here are a few more pictures from this day.

Final details are in process for Christmas in Kandi’s Land, our holiday party and December Supper Club! It will be held on December 10. Mark your calendar! It will be a fundraiser for LGBTQ+Allies, Lake County, Betty’s organization.
